That’s why County Bank has created its Positive Pay program designed to proactively assist your organization with added check-clearing security tools so you can feel positive about disbursements. Each time your company issues a check, your business sends County Bank an electronic data file which includes check issuance information such as check number and amount.

When the checks are presented for payment to County Bank, they are matched to your electronic data file. Those checks not matching become exceptions where payment decisions must be made by you. As these occur, County Bank will send these exceptions in an electronic list, then you tell us what checks are cleared for payment.
